Villa Il Casone became the setting for Sophia and William’s vision from the very beginning. They arrived in Tuscany with one clear idea in mind: they wanted their wedding to feel like an immersion in color — a vibrant celebration of joy, creativity, and freedom. American, well-traveled, and naturally curious, they had always believed that love was never meant to follow a straight line, but rather resemble a painter’s palette: layered with shades, contrasts, and intensity.
Villa Il Casone was a revelation for them. A historic estate surrounded by nature, elegant in its authenticity, capable of embracing their vision without confining it. A place where Italian beauty meets spontaneity, where the Tuscan light seems to magnify every color it touches.
Sophia, a New York-based interior designer, envisioned a wedding design that would be more than simply aesthetic — she wanted it to feel emotional. William, passionate about analog photography, dreamed of a celebration that felt visually alive, something that could exist beautifully on film without ever losing its intensity.
What emerged was an open-air editorial brought to life.
The ceremony itself was an explosion of color: vibrant floral palettes, details inspired by contemporary art, and bold chromatic choices standing out against the deep green landscape, transforming the scenery into a living painting.
