I photograph weddings the way they are remembered: in fragments, gestures, movement and feeling.

The nervous hands before the ceremony. The glances no one else notices. Champagne spilling over the glasses, hair coming undone on the dance floor, and all the beautiful things that were never planned.

My approach blends documentary photography with a cinematic and nostalgic sensibility. I won’t ask you to perform your wedding day for the camera or interrupt what is naturally unfolding. I will gently guide you when needed, then step back and make space for you to truly live it.

With a background in Cinema and Performing Arts, and four years spent studying and living in Paris, storytelling has always shaped the way I see. I’m drawn to honest emotion, imperfect beauty and images that feel less like a record of how everything looked — and more like a memory of how it all felt.

Alongside digital photography, I also work with 35mm film and Super 8, bringing the texture, unpredictability and timeless quality of analogue imagery into contemporary wedding stories.

Based in Bologna and available throughout Italy and wherever your story takes us.

Documentary. Cinematic. Nostalgic.

FAQ

1. What type and style of photography do you offer?

I specialize in cinematic storytelling photography with a nostalgic aesthetic and a documentary approach. My work is focused on transforming real experiences into visual narratives filled with movement, atmosphere and genuine emotion.

I offer wedding and destination wedding photography, intimate wedding and elopement coverage, engagement and pre-wedding sessions, family photography, and Cinematic Photowalks for couples, families and travellers. Based in Bologna, I work throughout Italy and internationally.

My photographic stories combine digital images with the distinctive texture of 35mm film. I also create handcrafted Super 8 films for weddings, couples and families, preserving memories through the warmth, movement and beautiful imperfections of analogue motion picture film.

Rather than relying on rigid poses, I offer gentle direction while allowing events and interactions to unfold naturally. The result brings cinematic storytelling and documentary wedding photography together: evocative images that do not simply show what happened, but preserve how the experience felt.

2. What are the prices of your service based on and what are the criteria?

I offer a base wedding photography price guide structured around three main types of coverage: a standard wedding day with up to 10 hours of photography, a civil wedding celebration, and a two-day wedding experience including the welcome dinner.

Each option can be personalised with additional services according to the couple’s plans and priorities. Available extras include additional hours of coverage, a second photographer, a handcrafted Super 8 wedding film, digital videography and a Live Portrait Studio for guests.

The final quotation is therefore based on the type and duration of the celebration, the selected photography coverage, any additional services and the wedding location. Travel and accommodation expenses are calculated separately when required, particularly for destination weddings outside the Bologna area.

I have also attached my wedding brochure, which includes further information about my collections, optional services and pricing.

3. In what environment / place do you shoot?

I am based in Bologna and photograph weddings, couples and families throughout Italy and internationally. I work in a wide variety of settings, from historic city venues and elegant villas to countryside estates, intimate indoor spaces and outdoor celebrations.

I adapt to the changing light, weather and atmosphere throughout the day. Natural light plays an important role in my work, while flash allows me to create a more editorial look or bring energy and character to evening moments such as the cake cutting and the dance floor.

For outdoor couple and family sessions, light rain does not necessarily mean that the shoot has to stop or be postponed. This is especially true in Bologna, where the city’s iconic porticoes provide shelter while remaining an integral part of the visual story. In the event of severe weather, we will evaluate the safest and most suitable alternative together.

Weddings, however, are beautifully unpredictable by nature. Rain, changing light and unexpected conditions are approached calmly and creatively: they are not interruptions to the story, but can become part of what makes each celebration visually unique.

I also welcome families into my private home studio near Bologna, created especially for intimate sessions during the colder months. Rather than a traditional photographic studio with formal backdrops, it is an intentionally homely setting designed to feel warm, familiar and lived-in. I work mainly with natural light, occasionally complemented by a small flash, to preserve the atmosphere of a real home and create honest family photographs in a comfortable environment.

4. Reservations. How early does the client have to apply?

For weddings, I recommend getting in touch as soon as the date and location have been confirmed, ideally nine to twelve months in advance. Destination weddings or particularly popular dates may require earlier booking.

However, shorter-notice enquiries are always welcome and can be accommodated depending on availability. A date is officially reserved once the contract has been signed and the required retainer has been received.
